The Averill Park Junior Volleyball Club was established in 2001 to provide girls ages 12-17 with the opportunity to play volleyball in the off season. 

The goal of AP Golddiggers is to create an affordable, enjoyable and challenging experience for individuals, where they can learn the fundamental and advanced skills and strategies of volleyball through structured practices and a competitive tournament schedule. Most of the girls play middle or high school volleyball at area schools and are interested in possibly playing in college.  In this club program, they will learn the skills that will give them an opportunity to succeed.

• WHERE:  The AP Golddiggers practice at the Averill Park and Tamarac High Schools.  We travel as far west as Dolgeville, NY but for the most part we stay in the greater Capital Region for tournament play.  Regionals are held through out the region.


• WHEN:  AP Golddiggers start the registration process right after the high school season ends (TBA).  Practices range from 1-2 per week for all ages.  We will travel to tournaments approximately two weekends per month from mid-January through the end of April.
